The YWCA of Ulster County is located at 209 Clinton Avenue in the uptown historic district of the city of Kingston across from Academy Green Park.

Driving Directions

• From the Poughkeepsie/MidHudson Bridge

Take 9W north through Port Ewen; Route 9W becomes 4 lanes, go to the 2nd stoplight and turn left onto Garraghan Drive. Take the next right onto Broadway, follow Broadway through the city of Kingston to the stoplight where Broadway meets Albany Avenue. Turn left onto Albany Avenue, then left again onto Maiden Lane. Turn right at the first stop sign on Maiden Lane onto Clinton Avenue -- you will find the YWCA on the corner of Clinton Avenue and Maiden Lane.

• From Route 209/Route 28

Take Route 209 to the Kingston Exit (Route 28 East) or Route 28 east to the Traffic Circle. Exit the traffic circle at Route 587 (Colonel Chandler Drive), at the first stoplight turn right onto Albany Avenue then take the first left onto Maiden Lane. At the first stop sign, make a right onto Clinton Avenue -- you will find the YWCA on the corner of Clinton Avenue and Maiden Lane.

• From the NYS Thruway

Use Exit 19 (Kingston). Follow the traffic circle and exit at Route 587(Colonel Chandler Drive). At the first stoplight turn right onto Albany Avenue then take the first left onto Maiden Lane. At the first stop sign, make a right onto Clinton Avenue -- you will find the YWCA on the corner of Clinton Avenue and Maiden Lane.

• From Route 32(New Paltz)

Take Route 32 north to a left (at the blinking light) onto Washington Avenue in Kingston. Turn right onto Pearl Street then right onto Green Street. Turn left onto Maiden Lane -- you will find the YWCA on the corner of Clinton Avenue and Maiden Lane.

• From Saugerties

Take 9W south into Kingston; after passing the shopping areas, bear right onto Ulster Avenue/Albany Avenue (Hoffman Car Wash on right). Follow Ulster Avenue/Albany Avenue through a residential area of the city, make a left onto Maiden Lane -- you will find the YWCA on the corner of Clinton Avenue and Maiden Lane.
