Our Mission

It is the mission of the YWCA of Ulster County to
serve women throughout their lifetimes. Our goal is to
facilitate the empowerment of women and families by
increasing their educational, economic, political, legal
and social opportunities; and to advocate for
racial justice and human rights.

Our Vision

We shall reflect the diversity of our community, and be open to
ALL as advocates of justice, knowledge and equality.
We shall provide a source of energy and empowerment.
We shall be a safe haven for growth and learning.
And, we shall strive for a world free of racism and sexism.

By our services we shall offer hope for the future, build
tomorrow's leaders and nurture women and their families
towards self sufficiency; by our actions we shall endeavor
