Public Policy

The YWCA of Ulster County Public Policy Committee is a standing committee comprised of Board members and members-at-large of the YWCA whose purpose is to establish guidelines for action based on the defined values of the organization and the needs of the population it serves. The committee develops, recommends to the Board and, where appropriate, implements public policy positions and advocacy roles that are congruent with the YWCA's mission/vision/values.
