We believe that financial independence, career development, and economic security should be available to every woman. Our Wealth programs are designed to share vital information, offer unique hands-on opportunities, and provide space and resources for entrepreneurs.


Economic empowerment is a cornerstone of women's independence. At YWCA Ulster County, we recognize that true wealth encompasses more than just money—it includes career fulfillment, sustainable livelihoods, and the ability to create lasting financial legacies.

Our Wealth programs provide the resources, education, and opportunities women need to achieve financial stability and build generational wealth. 


Professional Spaces

Offering time-shared workspace at reasonable prices for women’s small service businesses.

For: Female holistic healthcare practitioners, therapists, and other select professional service providers


Clinton Avenue Kitchen

Commercial kitchen space and business development support for women in the food industry.

For: Women wanting to launch food businesses or curate family meal programs


Maiden Lane Art Gallery

Exhibition space and a sales platform for women artists to showcase and monetize their work. 

For: Female artists, emerging or established, and curators


WealthWise 

A financial literacy and wealth-building club empowering women to invest, save, and thrive.

Financial literacy programs with strategic partners offer education on home buying, investments, and financial independence for women and communities

Wellness is the foundation upon which we build meaningful lives.

At YWCA Ulster County, we take a holistic approach to women's health, addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. 


Our Wellness programs provide access to healthcare, preventive services, mental health support, and community care networks that empower women to thrive at every life stage.


Women's Health Initiative

an empowering program designed to promote women's health and well-being. Our comprehensive initiative is dedicated to providing essential services to women aged 35 and above. 


No-Cost Ovarian, Cervical, and Breast Cancer Screenings

Your health is our top priority. We are committed to offering free screenings for ovarian, cervical, and breast cancer, ensuring early detection and timely intervention.


Monthly Holistic Health Care Clinics

Together with our esteemed partner, Health Care as a Human Right, we are excited to host monthly holistic health care clinics. These clinics will provide a range of integrated health services, addressing the unique needs of women, and promoting holistic well-being.


Seasonal Health Care Festival

Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of health! Our annual seasonal health care festival, in collaboration with the Holistic Health Community, promises a fun-filled day of interactive workshops, expert talks, and activities that promote a balanced and vibrant lifestyle.


Stand Against Racism Campaign

A year-long initiative following principles of community organizing to address racism as a public health crisis and promote racial justice. For: Everyone in our community


Cardio Care with WMC

Preventive cardiology services and education specifically designed for women's heart health. For: Women ages 16 and up


GYN Care

Comprehensive gynecological services in a safe, supportive environment. For: Women ages 11 and up


Full Primary Care with Ellenville Hospital

Accessible, comprehensive primary care services addressing the unique health needs of women. For: Women of all ages


WEALTH PROGRAMS

We believe every woman possesses innate wisdom. Our Wisdom programs are designed to nurture and share this knowledge, foster critical thinking, and build confidence through education, mentorship, and community support. 


TAP/Day One

Professionalizing early education through apprenticeships that enhance teaching quality, hands-on learning, and sustaining workforce and living wage development.

For: women who want to enter the field of early childhood care


Early Childhood Development

Start cultivating wisdom early with our nationally recognized Creative Curriculum and place/play/sensory-based approaches cultivate empathy and a healthy sense of justice in children ages 0-5. We focus on Earth, Social, and Political Justice education that prepares children to be compassionate citizens of the world.

•Low teacher-to-child ratios

•NYS licensed and registered programs

•Nutritious meals and snacks provided

•Outdoor exploration and play

•Scholarships available for eligible families

•Locations in Kingston, Ellenville, and Lake Katrine

For: Children ages 0-5 (27% qualify for free lunch, remainder are full pay)


Families Now Preservation Program

Families Now Parenting Journey - comprehensive support for families at risk, addressing the five key factors associated with poverty and providing tools to keep families together.

For: Mixed gender, ages 0-65, families at risk of losing children to foster care

Families Now is an intensive family preservation program exclusively serving Ulster County, New York. This program offers a range of interventions aimed at providing immediate, short-term support to families facing crises. Our goal is to prevent out-of-home placements and facilitate the early reunification of youth with their families. Families with children up to 18 years old who are at imminent risk receive prioritized referrals from the Ulster County Department of Social Services.

PECHV envisions a community that appreciates the interconnected nature of life, where positive peace is nurtured into existence.
